    Amen, Father Thomas!

    I could generalize that one step further and say that (for me–which is always safe to say!) contemplation is necessary for a whole, healthy, integrated, complete (etc. etc.) life, across the board.

    But now that I think about it, you probably include all those adjectives and more in your classical definition of the term “virtuous” (in context) anyway…
