Thanks, Carl-
Tracy , who was a prof at University of Chicago, was a visiting professor at Iliff School of Theology when I was a student in the early 90's, and was one of the most memorable. The work I did then with post-modernity (in which I connected the dots with eastern religious worldviews) has been especially important to my life since.

I highly recomment "Theology After Vedanta" for anyone interested in some serious wrestling with post-modernity.

Great post. Reminds me of some of Brian McLaren's introductions to gently let people know "we're not in Kansas anymore."

BTW, you keep blogging at an unbelievable pace, when most bloggers I know are slowing down considerably. I'm examining this phenomenon at http://frimmin.com, and I'd really appreciate it if you could add your two cents as well.

good overview. i think you have some pretty accurate stuff. the one thing i would encourage is to use scripture for skeptics to see that even social change took place in the bible and that it wasn't a negative thing.
