<description>More advice from an Episcopal priest:

I went to an Episcopalian service yesterday morning--not my usual practice!

The priest there, who was "installed" as rector after serving for over a year in a temporary position, was preaching a sermon for the feast of Pentecost. She gave this advice, consistent with what Carl heard and what Jeanne has to say too:

"The Holy Spirit has come and has rested upon us. It is time now for us to rise up in the power of that Spirit and go forth to fulfill His mission in the world, using the gifts He has freely given us for the work!"

Amen.

<description>Carl, excellent thoughts. The true Christian spirit is in that gospel, just as it is. It is the anxieties of man that have crept into how it is lived. What can we do? Maybe, live it the gospel way, and through our example, possibly give others courage to look into it as well. I know I gain courage from the example of others, who do this despite the words of others.
