Amazon limited me to 40 books. There are a lot of wonderful folks who didn’t make the cut: Cassian, Benedict, Aelred, Abhishiktananda, Bede Griffiths, Karl Rahner, Adrienne Von Speyr, Matthew the Poor, Thomas Keating, William of St. Thierry, Thomas à Kempis, Catherine of Siena, Phoebe Palmer, John Wesley, George Fox, A. W. Tozer, Origen, Richard Rolle, Margery Kempe, Francis and Clare, … the list goes on and on…

To Trish (and anyone else who might be hesitating): the good news about pre-ordering a book from Amazon is that they won’t actually charge your credit card until it ships (probably in July or August). So you can pre-order now and you won’t have to pay anything until next summer when the book is on its way to you. And they have the book pretty heavily discounted already, but if the price goes down between now and the ship date, you’ll pay the lower price.

Thanks for the heads-up on the complete Meister Eckhart. I was excited to hear advance word about this over a year ago and now I’m excited all over again to know it’s finally out (though my wallet is not excited)! Great list, by the way.

I’ll take a look but I’m shopping from the UK, so will have to change over to the UK site before purchasing (I do have an account on the US site, but the postage is more expensive, so I only use it if I can’t get the book in the UK.)
