Yes, the plan is for me to write a weekly column at Patheos. Basically, I envision my online presence like this: my blog, updated 2 - 3 times a week, my Patheos column, updated weekly, and my Huffington Post contributions, several times a year.

I'll announce the Patheos column once it's finalized. We're still working out the details but I'm hoping to launch it soon.

I like Let the Earth Keep Silence better than Earth keep Silent, although in the end I voted for Anamchara.

Some other ideas from scripture:
"A still small voice" from Kings
"Be still and know" from Psalm 46

or what about a short form of the Julian of Norwich quote you have at the top here :
"To Behold God in All" or just "Behold God in All" which gives the sense of connection with all nature and all people/ faiths, while beholding describes something about the path of contemplation?

I have been reading your blog here for a while, and I always find it thought provoking and eminently readable, so good luck with this new project.

I voted for "Opening to the Present." Anamchara has no meaning to me and therefore I would not click on it. "Let the earth keep silent" made me ask "Why keep silent? Once we have listened to God we have heard God, discovered God's Love, have joy to celebrate, and have God's will and work to pursue. "Word to Silence" seems to lead me to nowhere. Therefore, of the choices, "Opening to the Present" seems to open me to the thought of my act of becoming silent and being open to God's voice, developing a Love Relationship with MY God, and living out that relationship in the present.

I prefer Opening the Present. That also made me think of Richard Rohr's newish blog, entitled Unpacking Paradox (I think.. or Paradoxes).

New version of Let the Earth Keep Silence is ok, clearer than previous, while Let the Earth Keep Silent sounds punitive, might be misunderstood. Anamchara is sort of obscure, as I'm betting you've found out since 1996 or thereabouts. Lilting and sweet, but creates confusion moreso than curiosity... I had originally thought it sounded Eastern, like with an Indian root.

Congrats on the column, Patheos will be much the better for your presence (and presents).

I like "Opening the Present" but since you connected "Let the Earth Keep Silent" with the scripture I think it is beautiful. I like Anamchara, I am romanced by words that represent The Light, like "Maranatha"....found in Corinthians and known to be a christian meditation meaning "Come Lord"
I think I will choose "Let the Earth Keep Silent" because the word "Silence" is peace filled, and the word "Earth" is what we are called to bask in, the wonderment of nature and all good things created by God. And the word "Keep" as in keeping everything that is the truth stored within our inner most center where we dwell with it moment by moment.
