It’s no secret that we live in a time of great social, political, and even spiritual division. Between the news and social media, it’s tempting to give up hope—but you don’t have to! Great mystics from around the world offer practical tools for healing our hearts (and society) from the inside out.
In this interactive and practical workshop, we will explore the Christian mystical practice of Centering Prayer and learn how to access the silence within and cultivate inner healing and serenity. We will also practice Buddhist healing techniques such as Loving Kindness meditation and Tonglen meditation, which are designed to cultivate our inner capacity for love and compassion. These are powerful practices that can heal and transform both ourselves and our world.
Mystics from all traditions teach us that we contain the compassion and power of God within us and therefore can access that inner treasury, and embody the light and love that can truly change the world. Join us for a transformative workshop exploring timeless practices and insights from history’s most profound spiritual guides.
