— March 23, 2025: Interfaith Afternoon at Ignatius House in Atlanta: Ignatius House, the Jesuit Retreat Center in Atlanta, sponsors a series of Interfaith Afternoon Events on topics related to art and spirituality. I’ll be leading this event on the topic of “Spiritual poetry as a sacred practice.”
— May 10, 2025: Apostolic Johannite Church Annual Conclave in Atlanta: I’m speaking at a gathering for the Apostolic Johannite Church, an independent sacramental community. My topic will be ” Theosis and Theurgy: Mystical Christianity as Magical Narrative.” The public is welcome to attend.
— May 26-30, 2025: Retreat at Mepkin Abbey, Moncks Corner, SC: One of the most beautiful monasteries I’ve ever visited is Mepkin Abbey, located about an hour north of Charleston, SC. Pray with the monks and enjoy beautiful walks along the river and among the majestic oaks covered with Spanish Moss. The theme of this retreat is “Living Buddha, Living Christ.”
— July 25-27, 2025: Retreat at Ignatius House in Atlanta: If you can’t attend the retreat at Mepkin Abbey, then come join me at Ignatius House, the beautiful Jesuit Retreat House located just a few miles north of metro Atlanta. Again, my theme will be “Living Buddha, Living Christ.”
— August 7-11, 2025: Retreat at Bon Secours Retreat Center, Marriottsville, MD: So happy to be returning once again to the lovely Bon Secours Retreat Center in Marriottsville, MD, convenient to both Baltimore and Washington DC. The theme of this retreat will be “Praying, Meditating and Contemplating with the Mystics.”
